Amboseli special

Daily departures: park entry fees inclusive. Fly from Nairobi to Amboseli National Park to stay 2 nights at the luxury Tortilis Safari Camp. From Tortilis you will be taken out on morning and afternoon game drives in a 4×4 wheel drive safari vehicle with an experienced driver-guide who is based at the camp and knows the area well.

Itinerary: 2 nights / 3 Days
Day 1: Transfer from your nairobi hotel to wilson airport for the 07.30 flight to amboseli, arriving 40 minutes later. on arrival you will be met and transferred to tortilis camp to stay 2 nights. during your stay you will go out on morning and afternoon game drives to explore amboseli, and to see the huge herds of elephants for which it is famous and which can be observed at close range. amboseli is overlooked by Africa’s highest mountain, kilimanjaro – there are spectacular views from tortilis camp.

Day 2: You will take an early morning game drive, returning to Tortilis for a late breakfast. The rest of the morning is at leisure to bird-watch in the grounds or to relax by the camp’s swimming pool. After lunch there will be an afternoon game drive, returning to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Early breakfast and transfer to the airstrip for your return flight to Nairobi, departing 08.30. Arrive Wilson Airport at 09.15 in time to connect with one of our other air safaris to Mara, Samburu, Lewa Downs or Sweetwaters.
