Day 1:

Arrive Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport:
upon arrival, meet & greet will be conducted by a Pal-Davis Adventures Kenya Representative. Thereafter, be transferred to Nairobi Sarova Stanley hotel where you are booked for Bed & Breakfast meals plan. Nairobi Sarova Stanley hotel

Day 2:

Nairobi to Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary (250 kms =4 hrs drive):8 am, after breakfast start safari to Sweetwater’s Game Sanctuary to arrive in time for lunch in this secluded heart of Ol Pejeta Game Ranch. Here, these magnificent beasts are given sanctuary from those who would take their lives to sell their horns. Here too, the Jane Goodall Institute operates a remarkable Chimpanzee Sanctuary where we meet the primates face to- face. Our camp also overlooks one of the busiest waterholes in the area and offers elephant, giraffe and myriad plains game. This is Africa as Teddy Roosevelt saw it years ago when he led one of the first safaris to tour Africa in comfort and splendor. 3 pm, embark on a 2.5 hours game drive. Meals & accommodation at Serena Sweetwater’s luxury tented camp.

Day 3:

Sweetwaters Game Sanctuary to Samburu National Reserve (150 kms=3 hrs drive):After breakfast, drive to Samburu Game Reserve a dramatic semi-arid scrub-land of the Northern Frontier district in the north of Equator. After lunch, an afternoon game drive to sight resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy’s Zebra, Baisy Oryx and the blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country. Day 4:

Full day in Samburu National Reserve; Further exploration of this fascinating reserve awaits you. Early morning and afternoon game drives give a chance to travel over some of the world’s most spectacular and exciting terrain. Day 5:

Samburu Game Reserve to Aberdare National Park (170 kms = 3.5 hrs drive/): 8 am, after breakfast depart from Samburu Game reserve to Mt Kenya region at Aberdare Country Club arriving in time for lunch. After lunch be transferred to the tree lodge THE ARK. Enjoy the unique experience of all night and unlimited game viewing. Dinner and overnight at THE ARK surrounded by forest and overlooking an illuminated waterhole and salt lick. The Ark.

Day 6:

Aberdare National Park to Lake Nakuru National Park (200 kms = 4 hrs drive) After breakfast, transfer to base hotel for onward journey to Lake Nakuru National Park located in The Great Rift Valley, arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru lodge. After lunch an exciting game run is planned for the afternoon. The game in this park is plentiful and once known for lesser and Greater flamingos. The bird life here is world renowned and over 400 bird’s species exist here, White Pelicans, Plovers, Egrets and Marabou Stork. It is also one of the very few places in Africa to see the white Rhino and rare Rothschild Giraffe. The contrast and apparent dislocation between the shallow soda lake with its primeval birds and the animated woods all around it give Lake Nakuru National Park a very distinctive appeal. Day 7:

Lake Nakuru National Park to Masai Mara National Reserve (6.5 hrs drive) 295 kms; After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara – the land of vast migrating herds. Arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to get a closer look at the Mara. Return to an archetypal Mara Fig Tree Luxury Tented Camp for sundowners. All meals & accommodation at Mara Fig tree camp.

Day 8:

Full day in Masai Mara National Reserve: Optional Balloon safari “departs from the camp at 5 am” after Balloon Ride, a short game drive is conducted as you drive back to the lodge for leisure and lunch break. 3:30 pm, another game drives for the day to absorb the beauty and splendor of the Mara. Mara has the largest population of lions to be found in Kenya. The bird life of Mara is as profuse as its mammalian fauna. All meals & accommodation at Mara Fig tree camp. Mara Fig tree camp.

Day 9:

Another full day game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve; awaken to the sounds of the big game country and venture out to absorb the enormity of the Mara. In this country of breathtaking vistas, view its vast assemblages of plains game together with their associated predators: Buffalo, Black Rhino, Hippopotamus, Leopard, Cheetah, Common Zebra, Coke’s Hartebeest, White bearded Gnu, Oribi, Warthog, and Thompson’s and Grant’s Gazelles. July, August & September are the months when the Mara plains are filled with migrating wildebeests and zebras. Therefore, a full day game drive is recommended, this gives you a chance to track the wildebeests crossing the famous Mara River. Depart from Mara Fig Tree Luxury Tented Camp with picnic lunch boxes and explore this World-famous game reserve. The famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the reserve. Day 10:

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi (6 hrs drive=265 kms); Pre-breakfast game drive for 2 hours and after, return for full breakfast at Mara Fig Tree Luxury Tented Camp. 10:30 am, check out and start the journey to Nairobi by road. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or a place of your choice within the city center.
