Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha 105 kms (2 hours’ drive)

“Cycling expedition at Hell’s Gate National Park” 8 am, after breakfast depart from a Nairobi Hotel and drive to Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge. After checking in at Lake Naivasha Simba Lodge, proceed for a one-hour boat ride along the shores of Lake Naivasha followed by lunch at the lodge. 2 pm, proceed to Hells Gate National Park for cycling expedition: The Park is located between beautiful Lake Naivasha and the twin Longonot and Suswa Volcanoes; Hell’s Gate is one of Africa’s most visually stunning parks. While Hell’s Gate is known primarily for its landscape, there is still game to be spotted within the park. Buffalo and antelopes are especially common sights, and the park is also home to a variety of birds. There are no predators or dangerous large game in the park. Your tour includes bicycle cycling, and you’ll trade your safari vehicle for a bike to begin your journey through the park. Don’t worry! Your car will drive behind you to ensure you’ve got a place to rest if you get too tired. Your first stop will be the spectacular Fisher’s Tower, where the adventurous can choose to ascend the 45mts tower. Equipment can be rented on the spot, and all climbs are guided by local professionals. From here, you’ve got a long but scenic ride to the famous Hell’s Gate Gorge – where you can walk and climb your way through the distinctive terrain that helped inspire Disney’s famous The Lion King. Day 2: Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

255 kms (5.5 hrs drive) 8 am, after breakfast, depart for Masai Mara – the sights, sounds, colors and spectacle that spell Africa. This enormous Reserve, actually part of the vast Serengeti plains is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is a true home of the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape Buffalo Arrive in time for lunch Arrive in time for lunch. Day 3: Explore Masai Mara National Reserve

AM & PM game drives: Two days with morning and afternoon game drives, from the comfortable base of the camp, explore the park amazingly with high concentration of game. Also NOTE, the famous Maasai tribesmen live within the dispersal area of the national reserve and a visit to a local village can be arranged at an extra cost. Day 4: Masai Mara National Reserve to Lake Nakuru National Park

295 kms 7 hrs: 7 am, after breakfast, start journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Sopa lodge. 4 pm, embark for game drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. The park provides a sanctuary for the rhinos. The contrast and apparent dislocation between the shallow soda lake with its primeval birds and the animated woods all around it give Lake Nakuru National Park a very distinctive appeal. Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park to Mount Kenya Naromoru Anka Resort Lodge

170 kms 3.5 hours’ drive: 6.30 am, pre-breakfast game drive for 2 hours followed by full breakfast at the lodge. 10.30 am, check-out from Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge and drive to Mount Kenya Naromoru Anka Resort, arriving for late lunch, followed by rest and leisure at the lodge. Day 6: Day Trip to hike Mount Kenya

8 am, after breakfast depart from Anka Resort and drive to the Naromoru Track (altitude 3,000m) From there your trek begins with your experienced guide setting a leisurely and relaxing pace trekking up this famous mountain.

At about 3,600m you’ll stop for a picnic lunch and later on you continue to stroll to the crest of the ridge at 4,000m. Here you get a great view of the main peaks as well as the famous Teleki Valley. Afterwards, you’ll be advised to make a fairly brisk descent to the meeting point and then back to the Anka Resort for dinner and overnight (you get back at the lodge at around 5 pm) https://ankaresort.co.ke/

Day 7: Day Trip to Aberdare Mountain peak Le Satima Hiking Safari

7 am, after breakfast set off on a game drive through to Aberdare National Park, pass through the stunning farmlands in the lower mountain slopes. Check-in at the park entrance gate. While at the gate an armed ranger is provided to you for safety and security purposes while on the hike to mount Satima. You will then proceed to the starting point of the hike at Wandare Gate which is approximately 20 kms from park headquarters. The hike commences at 3,300 m as you walk through the moorland vegetation and the Heather zone vegetation with the aim of getting to the summit. The estimated hiking time is about 6-7 hours’ This most scenic Satima trail will offer you stunning views of the hugging rocks, scenic views of the rolling Hills, U-shaped valleys and stunning vegetation cover with wildlife species including Elephants and Buffalos. By 2 pm, you will be arriving at the summit of mount Satima where you will relax as you enjoy your picnic lunch and enjoying the scenic views of different attraction including the views of Mount Kenya, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania without forgetting the views of stunning Rift Valley lakes including Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and the rolling hills surrounding you. Day 8: Naromoru to Nairobi; 175 kms 3 hours’ drive

9 am, after breakfast check-out from Anka Resort lodge and start journey by road to Nairobi Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to finish safari.
